THINGS (part one)

Things were happening. Odd things, things that nobody would ever dream of. Things coming into kids room in the dead of night, taking anoraks and scarfs out of their wardrobes. Kids would wake up to find their wardrobes empty. What a surprise! It wasn’t only clothes going missing, the kids themselves were disappearing. The things were lurking in the shadows as the street lamps turn on. At exactly 11:59 pm the things split up and go to different houses. The weird thing was that the thing was only one thing. It took a second to get through a window and three to take what they need and go…

Blubber Mouth

February 12th, 2019 | Posted by Jessica in 100wc | Learning - (0 Comments)

Sam was a bit of a blubber mouth, he even admitted it. If he was allowed he would just keep talking and talking forever. He wasn’t allowed to say any more than 50 words over the dinner table or else he would loose 50 minutes on his xbox live.

One day Sam woke up bright and early. “Morning me”he said. His voice was all crabby and low. It was completely out of tune! He legged it down the stairs. “Mum, my high squeaky voice has disappeared” he yelled, but there was nothing his mum could do, Sams voice was stuck low forever.

The wind stood still. The plastic figures stopped in mid sentence, trying not to be seen moving by humans. All one hundred colourful plastic figures froze and didn’t move a muscle. I know it’s strange that figures move when they are made of plastic but anything made by Professor Angus was made of a sort of magic plastic. Professor was a young Australian lad who had been inventing since the stone age times( he invented a time machine, he isn’t THAT old). “I will invent more forever and longer” was his motto and that is exactly what he did.

Good or Bad

This character is yellow and wears a white vest. His hair( well at least the hair he has left on his head) is black and he only has four strands of hair left, two on either side of his head. He lives in a family of five and has a dog called Santa’s Little Helper. He has brown shiny shoes, three kids and a wife with a very high hairstyle. There is a movie and a film of this. He is known were he lives for being angry.

Am I good or bad?

Who am I?

answer in comments if you know.

“Hello, are you in here”Sam’s worried voice filled the empty house.

“I will get you a sticker” said Mrs Wyatt in her normal friendly voice.

“I call dibs on the purple Ocorina” shouted Luke, pointing at the purple small instrument laying in the white tray.

My Christmas

What a great Christmas I have had!

Part one:Christmas Day

First, I woke up on Christmas morning(not too early, around seven o’ clock) and hauled my heavy stockings(yes I had two stockings) into my parents’ room. My brother Daniel had already opened six presents while he was waiting for me to wake up and so he said ‘you open six presents and when you have opened the six we will start opening at whatever speed we want’. I got loads of awesome gifts in my stocking and I had a closer look at some of them while the breakfast(croissants and Brioches) was being prepared. After breakfast we opened a few presents and I got a fitbit watch.

Part two:Lyme Regis

After Christmas my family went to Lyme Regis which is by the beach. My brother and I had five pounds to spend in the seafront amusements. On all of the machines you won tickets and at the end I gathered up enough tickets to buy a squishy cola can and some jelly beans stored in a puffy purple pyramid. We went fossil hunting and my family made a little competition to see who could find the most fossils. Me and Mum found a devils toenail, a piece of an ammonite  and some funny shaped rocks.

Part three:The Big Pit

After that, we drove to Wales and went to a mine called the Big Pit. It was a working coal mine from 1880 to 1980 and was opened to see by public in 1983. It was amazing there and I would really like to go again some day even though I will already have gone through the experience.

I had an amazing Christmas holiday and I am hoping for another one like this one next year.

The end!

The dark black coal underfoot,

As hard as rock as black as soot,

the rocky black stuff under the wheel,

The crunchy, hard and rocky feel,

the lumps of coal we appreciate,

As hard as steel, as dark as slate
