Rememberance Sunday

Today I took part in the Bradford  on Avon Brownies Rememberance Sunday Parade.

We met out side of the church in Bradford, where we all lined up and watched the Cadets March.
We went into the church, and Reverand Joanne gave the service, we sang songs and said prayers for all the soliders that sadly died in the wars.

We went then went to Westbury Garden where we stood at the war memorial where poppy wreathes were laid for all the soliders.

Then the last post was played and we stood in silence for 2 minutes as a mark of respect.

I was very proud to be part of this today and I remember Great Grumpy today as he was in the 2nd world war as a fireman and he lived in Canterbury, where he had to scrape the bombs off the houses in the city.

My day at Manchester

I really liked Manchester it took a long time to get there although I enjoyed it.  We stayed at two hotels, for two days each.  It was really fun and strange in the hotels!  We went to an amusement park, it was really exciting.  We also went to China Town in Manchester.  I ate the ‘Three Roast’ – which is roast pork, roast duck and char siu (which is BBQ pork).  It was fantastic.  I liked the duck the most, me and my sister fought over the last piece (but luckily I beat her to it).  I ate with chopsticks, it was really hard.

Overall, I enjoyed my stay in Manchester!  (I would stay in Manchester if I could.)

Once there lived two sisters and there brother they were called Emma,Jess and David. On monday night they saw a star. Emma decided that they would wish on it. And they wished that they could go back to the time of the dinosaurs. Then some blue sparkles were sprinkled on them  and in two seconds they were in the land of dinosaurs! “Look there’s a stegosaurus” said Emma. ” That won’t hurt us” said Jess. “But this will” said David. “It’s a ginormas T-rex “said Jess! “Run” said Emma. So they ran as fast as they could. “Have we lost the T-rex “said David. “Yes we have” said Jess.” We need to get out of this jurassic jungle right now” said Emma. “We chose to come here” said Jess and David. Then they saw a purple and blue light it was a magic wizard. “Your wish is almost running out you must hurry and get back to were your journey had started or if you don’t you will be stuck here forever”  “We will have.” to hurry now”   said David. They ran as fast as they could to where they had arrived. The next moment they were back in there own garden . The.End.

The firework!

Once upon a time there lived a girl called Heather, she was a friendly girl who loved fireworks!

One year her mother told her that it was exciting bonfire night with all the amazing, beautiful and rainbow coloured fireworks lighting up the pitch black sky!

Heather lived in an old, rackety and ruined barn, next door to Heather lived a lady called Martha who sold fireworks with whistling ends that made everyone jump; they went very low in the sky instead of the ones where they they go shooting into the high sky!

When it was bonfire night that year Heather was so excited that she went charging out of the front door into the chilly, foggy and misty air. She could see thousands of beautiful fireworks being set off into the glimmering sky of tiny, sparkly and shooting stars!

She asked her mother if she was allowed to go to her friends house and have some fun! Her friends name was Emily; dog was terrified of fireworks because every time one went off he would shake.

So once the fireworks had stopped th
