Yesterday I went to Bowood and it was really great fun. My friends and I played in the adventure park then we went down to the cascade and I caught a Perch in the stream with my hands, everyone was really shocked. Everyone else had a shower in the waterfall !!

My first book review

I have just really enjoyed reading Collins book of Dinosaurs. It tells you lots of different information and interesting facts about dinosaurs. The age of dinosaurs began 230 million years ago. In this book it also tells you individual fact files e.g. Megalosaurus’ name means great lizard and it lived in France and the United Kingdom. My favourite part of the book was the Dinosaur Anatomy page which showed you where all the dinosaur organs were. I would recommend this book to Age 6-10 year olds.

Best first day of the holiday ever!

Today I’ve had the best day ever! I went fishing with my granddad and uncle. I caught perch, roach and tench. Did you know that tench are also called Doctor Fish because their slime heals any scars on your hand.

This year I have enjoyed learning about chocolate because we tasted lots of it and I made chocolate cornflake crunchies with my Mum at home.
The recipe we used was the same my Mum used when she was 8 and I am now 8 years old.

On Sunday, We always have a lie-in  I wake up and I ask Dad “what’s for breakfast?”  he replies “You choose”  I reply “Eggy Bread please“(I love it!!) I help Dad make it.. I crack three eggs on my forehead! Then I whisk it up with some milk it usually goes EVERYWHERE!!!!!!) Dad cook’s them and we eat loads!

We then  cycle to Avoncliffe hill ( I’m on gear six! so is Dad) We go zooming down the hill like were on motorbikes the wind brushing on our faces as we duck down to go faster!!

We then come home for a delicious roast-dinner!!
