Today we had fun doing gym with Mrs Hobson. We got out the climbing ropes, wooden climbing frame with slides, metal bars, walking bars and did exercises on the mats.On the metal bars I hooked my legs up through the bars and hung upsidedown without holding on!
I had so much fun!
Today we saw three different performances.
The first performance we saw was a reading by an author called Patricia Forde. Another school was meant to be there but they forgot, so she did it just for us. She translated an Irish book into English for us, because we don’t understand Irish.
The second show we saw was called The Odyssey Experience. It was about Odysseus’s journey home to his wife Queen Penelope. He and his crew have lots of adventures on the way home. One of his adventures included a cyclops. My sister liked when the people with blue wigs came on. They were the sirens who were trying to make them crash against the rocks. The audience was part of the show, with children taking it in turns to act parts. My dad was chosen to go up. I found it really funny and interesting.
The third show was a puppet show for three year olds, as a result I found it boring.

Today we are learning about aviation as part of our inventions topic. we have been doing lots of fun stuff, we found out that the Wright brothers were the first to take flight so we had a go at making our own planes with Mrs Windo we flew them in the classroom. Then we made parachutes using binbags and string, Ruby helped me test mine out. Some other children have been learning how avaiation has changed over the years and Mr Bennett is showing everybody how to make a real lego movie. My favourite has been the planes.
